Job Overview: As a Moving Crew Lead Driver with 2 Brothers Moving, you'll play a critical role in coordinating moving projects and ensuring customer belongings are transported safely and efficiently. This physically active position involves heavy lifting, careful driving, and exceptional customer engagement. Candidates must be dependable, adaptable, and available to work evenings and weekends when necessary. Safety awareness and proper lifting procedures are essential.
Key Duties:
Truck Operations:
Safely operate moving trucks while complying with all traffic laws and safety standards.
Complete routine inspections of vehicles before and after each shift.
Loading & Unloading:
Handle loading and unloading of customer items, including furniture, appliances, and boxes.
Secure items appropriately within the vehicle to prevent damage during transport.
Employ proper lifting methods to manage items weighing up to 75 lbs.
Customer Interaction:
Provide exceptional customer service, addressing client inquiries and concerns promptly.
Handle all customer belongings carefully and respectfully, ensuring satisfaction.
Maintain a courteous and positive demeanor throughout the moving process.
Leadership & Teamwork:
Direct and organize moving crew members effectively during job assignments.
Collaborate and communicate with management and team members to streamline operations.
Provide guidance and support to ensure team efficiency and effectiveness.
Schedule Flexibility:
Remain available for varied work schedules, including weekends and evenings, depending on workload.
Adapt to changing tasks and operational requirements.
Requirements:
Minimum age of 21 years.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving history (CDL not required).
Previous driving experience in Moving, Delivery, Transportation, or Logistics preferred.
Capable of lifting and carrying items up to 75 lbs safely.
Proven ability to both lead teams and follow direction.
Exceptional reliability, work ethic, and punctuality.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Excellent teamwork capabilities.
Compensation & Benefits:
Average cash tips equating to roughly $4/hour, dependent on performance.
$22/hr plus overtime over 40
